Angela from Raising Energy offers small and personal courses for Reiki level one, two and three (Masters level) in Townsville (and surrounds by group booking).  Angela prides herself on teaching Reiki at the highest standard possible, she is a recognised teacher through the Australian Reiki Connection and has had her teaching material reviewed and approved by the Australian Reiki Connection to receive this teaching status.

Each course will never have more than 2 participants per course (unless in circumstances where the students have requested a private bigger class) as we believe in working on a more personal and individual level with our students to allow them the most unique Reiki journey possible.

You're interested in learning Reiki, what is a great first step to take?

​

1 -Before commencing training I personally recommended that you meet with or contact a few local teachers so you can get the right feel for which Reiki training suits your own personal needs.  Reiki is such an amazing energy to have in your life, if you feel connected to the right teacher then you will feel more connected & comfortable to the Reiki journey.   Dont ever feel pushed into training as it shouldnt be 'sold' to get you across the line.  There are a lot of amazing teachers available and we all have our different styles to suit different people.

2- Do your research, Reiki is extremely popular now and its easy to obtain a certificate.  Check your teacher was taught in person over the appropriate training time (ie: not a weekend course for Level 1- Masters or online). The  Australian Reiki Connection is one of Australia's leading Reiki organisation and advocate for Reiki practices, they have an abundance of useful information and a teaching directory of approved teachers.

3- Look at the length of the course.  For example, Reiki level 1 and Level 2 need to be given at least 21days between classes, this is so you can embrace the full 21-day cleanse associated with the Reiki Attunement you receive when you learn Reiki.  Classes that are running level 1 & 2 on the same day/ weekend will not comply with any Reiki Standards set by a reputable/ legitimate associations.    Please don't sell yourself short on your journey.  Its also advised to look at the hours that are run during the course, for courses that are larger than 4 students it should be run at a minimum of 10hrs (across 2 days) this is due to the time it takes to learn the material, hands on training and individually receiving the attunement (its approx. 20mins per student at a minimum for Level 1 attunement process).  The more students in a class, naturally the longer training should be expected.

​Reiki Level One
In Reiki level one, you will be attuned to the Universal Life Energy from your Reiki Master.  Once you are attuned to the energy you will have the ability to channel healing energy through your hands.   Training for Reiki is set in a relaxing and fun environment. You do not require any skills or knowledge prior to taking this course, it’s all about enjoying the energy and learning how to provide healing.

 

Training will cover the following areas:

 

• History of Reiki

• Understanding your Reiki Linage - Usui Reiki Shiki Ryōhō

• Understanding Reiki and yourself

• Linage and history of the original founder & ascended Reiki Masters

• 21 Cleanse

• Benefits of Reiki

• How to give Reiki to yourself and others

• Hand positions

• Chakras, Meridians and Auras within Reiki

• Student/s will be attuned to Reiki individually by the traditional 'hands on' process only  (in accordance to the National Reiki Standards), no Reiki attunements will or should be given to students via distance or sending it out to the all in the room.

• Each student will receive a kit containing a Journal, 28 page Reiki Level 1 workbook, detailed information on the 21 day cleanse and more. 

• During the first level (and following the original Reiki guidelines as recogonised by Australian Reiki Connection) no Reiki symbols are and should be given in this level

 

Inclusions: 1 full day of training in a private tutor setting (small class), on going support, Reiki level one workbook, certificate, light luncheon, morning and afternoon tea.

​Reiki Level Two
In Reiki level two, you will receive an additional attunement to open your energy to the next level required to receive your Reiki symbols.  Level two will increase your Reiki ability and teach you how to send distance healing, animal, plant and client healing and learn space clearing techniques using Reiki.   Once you have completed level one and two you will be qualified practitioner for your Reiki services.

 

Training will cover the following areas:

 

• Reiki Level One refresher and Journey

• Practitioner level qualification 

• Introduction to Reiki Level 2

• Working with animals & plants

• Receiving the three sacred symbols 'power, protection and distance healing'

• Learning how to use these symbols

• Hands on training

• Distance Reiki Training

• How to use Level 2 training within your everyday life

• How to become a Practitioner

• Student/s will be attuned to Reiki individually by the traditional 'hands on' process only  (in accordance to the National Reiki Standards), no Reiki attunements will or should be given to students via distance or sending it out to the all in the room.

• A National Code of Conduct for health care workers overview

• Comprehensive workbook

Reiki Level Three (Masters Level)
Before completing level three training, it is recommended that you have held your Reiki level one and two for a minimum of 12 months, to enable you time to practice with the energy.  The more you use the Reiki energy, the stronger it becomes.  

In Reiki level three, you will receive additional attunements to open your energy to the Masters level.  Once you have received these attunements the training will be focused on teaching and working with the new energy.  You will also receive the sacred symbols required to attune students in Reiki level one, two and three.  

 

Training will cover the following areas:

 

• Reiki Level One and Two refresher and Journey overview

• Introduction to Reiki Level 3

• Working with animals & plants

• Receiving the Master symbols and the sacred understanding behind each symbol

• Learning how to use these symbols for maximum potential

• Deeper understanding to all the Reiki symbols (not taught in level 2)

• Hands on training

• How to teach Reiki

• How to perform a Reiki Attunment on others

• How to use Level 3 training within your everyday life

• How to become a Practitioner/ teacher

• Each student will receive a kit containing a Journal, Reiki Level 1, 2 & 3 workbook's, detailed information on the 21 day cleanse and more.
